Who We Are

A fifteen year-old award winning band of between 50 and 60 adult musicians with and without developmental and/or physical disabilities where the majority of our players with disabilities do not and probably will not read music.

 

What We Do

We perform "live" in year-round public concerts and open rehearsals for the wider community.

 

The Music We Play

All genres of music, published and commissioned, jazz, swing, vocal scores, ethnic and folk, classical, Broadway and light opera, contemporary and African drumming.

 

The Instruments

Professional percussion and tonal instruments for those who do not read music and traditional instruments for those who do.

 

Rehearsals We are now rehearsing and performing in the Music Center at Strathmore, North Bethesda, Maryland.
